One hundred and fifty-three Indian Hill High School seniors and graduates from the class of 2012 have earned the designation of Advanced Placement Scholar for 2012 by the College Board. This designation is in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the Advanced Placement (AP) program exams. Indian Hill High School has increased the number of students participating in AP courses from 211 in 2009 to 366 in 2012 while still enabling more than 89% of students to earn AP Exam scores of 3 or higher. The majority of U.S. colleges and universities offer college credit, advanced placement or both for a score of 3 or above on an AP Exam — which can potentially save students and their families thousands of dollars in college tuition.
The AP Program offers several AP Scholar Awards to recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement on the Advanced Placement (AP) program courses and exams. Congratulations to the following Indian Hill High School students and graduates.
National AP Scholar – Granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
