The Indian Hill High School Academic WorldQuest Team, comprised of Llyona Lallement, Asher Weinstein, Radu Dragomirescu, and Mark Kholodenko, took third place at the Academic WorldQuest National Competition in Washington, D.C. this spring. Mark Atwood, high school latin teacher, is the staff facilitator for the team.

The students competed with over 45 teams from all across the country. The Indian Hill team has advanced to the national level the last four consecutive years but this is the first year they have placed among the top three teams.

Academic WorldQuest, is a flagship program of the World Affairs Councils of America and engages more than 4,000 high school students annually across the U.S. to test their knowledge of global issues, politics and foreign policy. This year’s competition focused on Saudi Arabia.

Congratulations to these students and their incredible achievement!
