The record-setting number of Indian Hill High School (IHHS) vocal students selected for the premier performance at Ohio Music Education Association’s (OMEA) state convention was already unprecedented – and just got even bigger. Nine Braves will take the stage! IHHS student Reilly Grace was just named to perform with the Ohio All-State Choir.

“In the world of Ohio high school choral performance – earning a place within the Ohio All-State Choir is the highest honor a vocal student can achieve,” said Jeff Clark, IHHS director of choirs. “We are thrilled for Reilly to join our eight other vocal students in representing our Braves.”

The other eight IHHS Ohio All-State Choir students include:

Luke Castellini

Elizabeth Donnelly

Kennedy Frost

Nicolas Hollander

Louisa Klaserner

Gheric Lindberg

Jonah Sorscher

Caroline Sullivan

Equally exciting for our Braves – IHHS Senior Rachel Volk’s selection for the Ohio All-State Orchestra. Volk plays the cello.

The students will perform in Cleveland early February 2019. Students had to satisfy several recording requirements to be considered, including performing a vocal/instrumental solo from OMEA’s selected pieces. Students were chosen based on a blind audition.
